Located along the roadside near the village of Kichan in Artsakh, the Valley of Khachkars is a medieval Armenian cemetery.
It dates back to the 11th–12th centuries. The number of officially registered khachkar (cross-stone) monuments in the former Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh exceeds 2,000. Since the occupation of Artsakh by Azerbaijan in 2023, the current condition of these monuments remains unknown.
